Invisalign Orthodontic treatment consists of a series of clear acrylic "aligners" that are made from a highly accurate impression of your teeth and the expertise of a trained Invisalign certified Dentist. A series of high tech 3-D computer animated CAT scan images are taken of your models used to review your individual case on a computer with your Doctor. When you both are satisfied with the desired results, acrylic models of your case are generated for each 2 week stage and the aligners are then fabricated for your entire treatment. You simply return to your Dentist for the initial placement of your first aligner and your invisable Orthodontic treatment has begun!
Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign aligners can be removed for eating, drinking and normal hygiene. They are worn for 23 hours a day, and you don't even need to return to your Dentist every two weeks for "tightening". They are totally smooth and provide for minimal discomfort compared to unsightly bands, wires and brackets. After you begin your treatment, you may only have to visit your Dentist every 6 weeks to pick up the next series of your treatment aligners. It is fast, comfortable and clean!
